A Growing Heart

In humility, a heart beats with purpose in the soil that is prepared for assured germination. In secret, Love's seed grows up from the kernel of hope until the daylight reveals fresh faith that is sprouting with gratitude. Showers of expectancy deepen the root of conviction and strengthen the stalk of moral courage. We gasp with delight as Soul shows its likeness, which is always known to itself, and unfurls its sweet petals, revealing a unique treasure. Heaven rejoices; a heart is in bloom!

For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. (Isa 61:11)
